We suggested they refund the shipping cost as we didn't want to have to spend more time disassembling and re-packing and then have to reassemble another bed - they would save the money on shipping the damaged bed back and forth. All in all it took over a week for them to offer a solution and they were not apologetic at all. They insisted we send videos and photos of the damage, but their software systems couldn't open a short video. Meanwhile we were sleeping on the floor trying to get things sorted with them. Their customer service centre appears to be offshore as they respond at odd hours and take a long time to respond. We got in touch asking for a partial refund. Also arrived without the hardware (screws etc) - so we had to spend money at Mitre ten buying new hardware, spent time and money to get it set up that we hadn't planned for. The glue had also come loose making the bed not fit for purpose and wobbly once we assembled it. The listing stated it is wooden but actually it is 'plywood' coated with a darker coating. This bed arrived in a damaged box, with damage to the laminate surface of the bed. Really disappointing customer service and damaged bed.
